The situation for Palestinians in Gaza right now is absolutely dire. The Israeli government has cut off all food, water, fuel, and power, and has indiscriminately dropped bombs without reprieve. They have called on 1.1 million Palestinians in Gaza to evacuate the north of the strip to prepare for a likely ground invasion —a move that the U.N. says is impossible and would have “devastating humanitarian consequences”.

Human Rights Watch has confirmed that the Israeli government dropped white phosphorus on Gaza, forbidden in dense and overcrowded areas because of the horrific and severe burns these weapons can create.

Tomorrow, we must address the root causes of this violence. But today, you must call for a ceasefire NOW to save lives.
